Xtreme on show at the 2011 World Time Attack Challenge

Xtreme Clutch has put on a Trade Display at the 2011 World Time Attack Challenge over the weekend. The World Time Attack Challenge is now in its 4 year & Xtreme Clutch is proud to have been associated & sponsor the Event since its inception.

The World Time Attack Challenge is quite a new concept to Australia & has been very popular in both the USA & Japan. The category attracts competitors worldwide with the top 3 places going to teams from Japan.

There were many Xtreme-Sponsored driver's whom competed including Steve Knight's in his 600AWHP Mitsubishi EVO 6 which uses an Xtreme Twin Carbon Clutch, Brad Trenwith in his 500RWHP Mazda RX7 which is running an Xtreme Carbon Triple Plate Clutch & Daniel Day from S & J Automotive whom is using an Xtreme Carbon Single Plate Clutch in his Subaru MY99 WRX.

The Tectaloy Drift Challenge which was held in conjunction with the Time Attack was held on both the Friday & Saturday Night. The Tectaloy Drift Challenge saw many Xtreme Sponsored drivers’ compete in a Top 32 Battle to determine an outright winner. Xtreme Sponsored Driver's from New Zealand were invited to compete against some of Australia's best driver's including current D1NZ Champion Gaz Whiter in his Nissan Silvia S14, Daynom Templeman in his Mazda FD RX7 & "Fanga" Dan Woolhouse in his Holden VZ Commodore.

Some Xtreme-Sponsored Australian Driver's included Luke Broadbent in his Nissan Cefiro, Danny Vahoumis in his RB25-powered Nissan S15 & Beau Yates in his Toyota Sprinter AE86 to name a few. The Battles saw some of the closest battles ever seen here in Australia with outright honors going to New Zealand Driver Curt Whittaker in his Nissan R34 Skyline, Daynom in 2nd place, Beau Yates in 3rd place with Luke Broadbent rounding out the top 4.

Xtreme Clutch was also on hand throughout the show to promote & display some of their new product including the 185mm & 200mm Multi-plate Clutches. These proved quite popular amongst workshop owners and car enthusiasts alike with much interest.

Xtreme also had an extensive range of Xtreme Brake Pads & Performance Rotors which have only just been released. The range covers many models from Mitsubishi EVO through to the Nissan Skyline R35 GTR.
