Walton Wins Clipsal 500 Utes Round

Kris Walton wins the Clipsal 500 round of the V8 Ute Series as carnage further back in the pack results in the final race being cut short.

The V8 Utes again put on a great show for the crowd at the Clipsal 500 Adelaide with Ryal Harris and Kris Walton trading first and second all weekend with Walton taking out the final race which finished under safety car. 

The V8 Ute Series made a number of big announcements over the Clipsal weekend with a joint collaboration on the new generation of Utes with V8 Supercars being a highlight. The new generation of Ute will include new makes based on small trucks and light commercials and will be supported technically by V8 Supercars who have gained great knowledge on parity formulas with their latest generation of vehicles.

The new agreement has resulted in the Utes category being kept as a V8 Supercar support category for the next five years with the option to extend this for a further five years.

Xtreme Clutch supported the V8 Utes at Clipsal as Official Clutch Supplier. This was supported with a stand in the V8 Utes Paddock where Xtreme Performance and Xtreme Outback products were displayed to the passionate crowd.
