Steve Glenney Racing- Subaru Rally Car
Steve Glenney Racing have started their 2007 rally season in the best possible fashion, winning every stage on their way to taking out the Robertstown Walky 100 Rally on the weekend.
Steve Glenney Racing will make a much anticipated return to the NEC Australian Rally Championship at Augusts Rally of South Australia. Steve will be driving the same Subaru Impreza WRX STi Spec C that took Cody Crocker to the Asia Pacific Rally Championship title last year.
The new car represents a significant performance upgrade over last years Subaru, and should enable the team to consistently contest for outright rally wins. "Its lighter, more powerful, has bigger brakes and the latest technology in diff controllers and suspension" Steve enthuses.
After winning last years home ARC round, SGR was set for a factory backed drive with Team Mitsubishi Ralliart in the 2007 championship, until a last minute decision by the company to withdraw the programs budget. While hopeful of Mitsubishi returning and securing a factory drive in 2008, SGR want to continue to win rallies in the current season and be seen as the team to beat.
