Xtreme-Sponsored Beau Yates shows how it’s done.
Xtreme-Sponsored Beau Yates has finished off the 2013/2014 ADGP Season winning the final round at Calder Park Raceway.
It’s been a long time testing for the team since the debut of the All-New Toyota 86 but the package is now bullet-proof with the 86 making over 300RWKW’s and the entire set-up being very close to dialled in.
Beau came out firing with a blasting 2nd spot in qualifying setting him up for battles. Beau was awarded a bye run in the Top 32 and then progressed after a win in Top 16 and the Top 8 to come into what’s been described as one of the closest hard-fought battles ADGP has ever seen, against Michael Rosenblatt in the Nissan R32 Skyline. Both forced the battle to a re-run with an intense door-to-door battle and a tough judging decision handing Beau the win to the final. Beau then came up against Michael Prosenik in the Supreme Caravans LS-Powered S13 Silvia which is also using an Xtreme Clutch. Another close battle saw Beau defeating a hard-charging Prosenik to win the round.
